Neuro Embolization Technologies

Penumbra’s advanced engineering has created a range of differentiated coils for aneurysms, fistulas, vessel sacrifice, and other malformations:

SwiftPAC^™

• Designed to act as a soft, space-seeking liquid metal for dense packing
• Conforms to the vessel to facilitate efficient embolization
• Available in a wide range of lengths (3–60 cm)
• Designed for a variety of embolization procedures

POD400^™ and PAC400^™

• High volume per coil with .020″ primary diameter
• POD400: Designed to anchor predictably for vessel occlusion
• PAC400: Engineered to fill densely and precisely to complete the occlusion
• Designed to work together for controlled, reliable vessel closure

PC400^™ System

• Designed for aneurysms from 2–32 mm diameter
• High volume per coil with .020″ primary diameter
• Features complex and helical shapes
• Engineered to deliver a soft implant while providing greater volume per coil

SMART COIL^®

• Integrates advanced 10-system coil features designed to simplify complex neurovascular cases
• Designed to offer a highly differentiated platform tailored for versatile neuro embolization
