ACCESS25 Delivery Microcatheter
The ACCESS25 Delivery Microcatheter is designed for support, trackability, and atraumatic placement for delivery of Penumbra’s .020″ coils (PC400™, POD400™ & PAC400™). ACCESS25 features a highly flexible distal zone optimized with REDglide™ technology engineered for improved navigability amidst tortuosity and a nitinol coil wind engineered for a progressive transition from proximal support to distal flexibility. Advanced polymers facilitate distal deliverability and reinforce the proximal support zone to resist back-out and help promote distal-to-proximal energy transfer and pushability.
- .025″ Lumen (0.63 mm): Designed to deliver Penumbra’s .020″ coil platform (PC400, POD400, PAC400)
- .037″ Distal OD – .040″ Proximal OD (.094 mm – 1.01 mm): Designed with evolved polymer and nitinol coil wind construction to optimize deliverability
- Soft Precision: Short, atraumatic polymer tip with radiopaque markerband optimizes device positioning
- Highly Flexible Distal Zone: Reinforced with nitinol coil wind to facilitate trackability amidst tortuosity
- 90 cm of REDglide Coating: Enhanced hydrophilic coating on distal shaft to facilitate ease of deliverability in tortuous vasculature
- Optimized Midsection: Advanced polymers engineered for progressive transition from proximal support to distal flexibility
- Tactile Support: Designed to resist back-out during deployment as well as to promote distal-to-proximal energy transfer and pushability
