Artemis™ Neuro Evacuation Device
Mechanical Thrombectomy
The Penumbra System™ is a fully-integrated system designed specifically for mechanical thrombectomy by aspiration, and has received CE Mark. It is intended for use in the revascularisation of patients with acute ischemic stroke secondary to intracranial large vessel occlusions. The Penumbra System includes Reperfusion Catheters, 3D Revascularization Device™, the Penumbra ENGINE™, and accessories. The latest generation of the Penumbra System features the Penumbra JET™ Reperfusion Catheters, Hi-Flow Aspiration Tubing, and the 3D Revascularization Device. The 3D Revascularization Device is designed for aspiration with Penumbra JET 7 and ACE™ Reperfusion Catheters.
Embolisation
Penumbra’s neuro embolisation systems are designed to meet the challenges of aneurysm coiling, vessel sacrifice, and other neurovascular malformations. The Penumbra SMART COIL™ is a 10-size, detachable, platinum embolisation coil system engineered to offer smooth, controlled coil delivery using proprietary innovations in coil design and material science. The Penumbra Coil 400™ (PC400™) is a large-volume, detachable, platinum coil system engineered to offer 4 times the volume of a 10-size coil to embolise large aneurysms and other large, complex lesions. Penumbra’s neuro embolisation systems have received CE Mark.
Access
Penumbra offers access devices specifically designed to facilitate the treatment of a wide range of conditions in the neurovasculature.
Surgical
The Artemis™ Neuro Evacuation Device is intended for the controlled aspiration of tissue and/or fluid from the Ventricular System and/or Cerebrum. The Artemis Device works in conjunction with a neuroendoscope through a 19 F (6 mm) sheath. Together with Pump MAX™ aspiration system, Artemis offers powerful and controlled evacuation.
