Penumbra System

Share

The Penumbra System is a fully-integrated system designed specifically for mechanical thrombectomy by aspiration. It is intended for use in the revascularization of patients with acute ischemic stroke secondary to intracranial large vessel occlusions.

The Penumbra System is comprised of several devices:

Penumbra ENGINE delivers high vacuum through Penumbra Hi-Flow Aspiration Tubing, and Penumbra JET 7, Penumbra JET DACE and MAX Reperfusion Catheters. The Penumbra System is engineered to maximise aspiration power for clot removal. The 3D Revascularization Device is designed for aspiration with Penumbra JET 7 and Penumbra ACE Reperfusion Catheters.
