Senior Quality Engineer
Description: monitors design control and provides quality assurance support, develops quality standards/application/revision/maintenance for manufacturing, plans and conducts work requiring judgment and independent evaluation along with selection and adaptation or medication of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
Duties and Responsibilities Overview:
- Participate in development and qualification activities for new and existing products
- Lead and participate in project teams coordinating quality efforts of engineers, technicians and other professional of various disciplines/departments to design, develop and continuously improve products
- Perform engineering work which involves both conventional engineering practice as well as solutions for non-standard situations
- Participate in the development of SOPs, prepare documentation for inspection and testing procedures, assist in and perform QSR training
Education: BS in Engineering required, MS/PhD desirable
Experience: at least 5 years relevant experience in Quality Assurance and ISO, with experience in at least one of the following: auditing, design review, sterilization, project management, product development team participation
