Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and procure equipment and fixtures to advance manufacturing by improving throughput, yield, and/or ergonomics.
- Solve equipment related manufacturing problems.
- Manage the preventative maintenance schedule, perform and document maintenance activities, and manage spare parts inventory.
- Document equipment by creating Equipment Binders, and writing preventative maintenance instructions and qualification protocols.
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum five years experience working for medical device companies per GMP guidelines.
- Proven ability to build, troubleshoot, repair and maintain manufacturing equipment, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Excellent documentation skills.
